SerabiRecruits is a female-founded international recruitment company, established with a vision to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Founded by a passionate South African entrepreneur with extensive experience in management and sales, SerabiRecruits was born out of a personal journey. After relocating to Germany, I took time for introspection, observing the unique needs of both my homeland and my new country of residence. This led me to see a clear opportunity to help address the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in Germany and beyond.

With a lifelong purpose centred eRearound connecting people, organizations, and opportunities, I founded SerabiRecruits to support healthcare job seekers and professionals from various backgrounds in realizing their career aspirations abroad. My belief is simple: "Help one, and you help a home." This philosophy guides our mission to provide meaningful career opportunities for healthcare professionals from South Africa, Asia, and the rest of Africa, creating lasting change for individuals and their communities.

Why Us

There are many elements at play in the international employment and immigration process and this is where my team and I want to make a difference in your process and experience. Through our research we discovered that Asia share this plight with South Africa and thus sparked this idea to collaborate with Asia as well. Germany already has a big international community and welcome immigrant professionals.

Our female-led start up, in healthcare recruitment aims to bridge this gap. We aim to work together with Asia to supply Germany with the much-needed professionalism and heart that Africa and Asia can provide. We currently have our offices in Germany and South Africa and as we grow, we will expand to Asia as well.

We started this agency to bridge the gap between Europe, South Africa, and Asia for the nursing, caregivers, and healthcare industry, and we feel we are well on our way in achieving this goal. The fact that Germany offers a good quality of life, a consistent, healthy and a very stable working environment, is such a positive point for our candidates because it serves as part of bridging the unemployment gap and providing a new perspective for our candidates and alleviating the human resource scarcity that Germany currently face therefore SerabiRecruits is providing a complete Human Resource and Immigration service to our Candidates i.e. Job placement with reputable hospital, doctors practices, old age and frail care facilities in all the major German provinces, qualification checks to be able to work to the German standards, Assistance in the complete Immigration process, information assistance with the A1-B1 Language Courses in the country of origin and Information assistance with in the Application for “Willkommensgeld” for the Old Age Care Givers successfully placed in the NRW province!

Currently our agency specializes in recruiting nurses (Pediatric nurse, Geriatric nurse, clinical nurse, and various other nurse practitioners), old age and frail caregivers, midwives and soon we will expand to other healthcare professionals, as well as IT professionals and Truck driver recruitment.

With over a decade of experience in clothing production, retail, management, purchasing, and administration in South Africa, I have developed a strong foundation in customer satisfaction and supplier relations. My passion for helping people is at the core of my work, ensuring that all parties involved receive fair opportunities.
Immigrating to Germany has further enriched my journey, navigating the complexities of immigration and adapting to a new culture has reinforced my commitment to bridging gaps across industries and communities. I am dedicated to enhancing access to healthcare services jobs and opportunities, particularly for populations where these opportunities otherwise would not be a possibility.
I strive to create sustainable opportunities that empower individuals to grow in their education and experience. My goal is to utilize my knowledge and expertise to support candidates and clients in healthcare recruitment, fostering a society where everyone can thrive and achieve their goals.

Thomas Erk

As a former managing director of a large German energy company, and various other large companies in the Engineering Industry, I was responsible for international teams with more than 400 employees until 2019. The success of our companies was largely ensured by the many hard-working and motivated people. The optimal selection, the tailor-made assignment and the constant further development of employees and managers has always been a special concern of mine. I am happy that today I can support our company with my knowledge and experience.
